System Introduction
Power industry is the mainstay of the national economy. Electric power is a special commodity that plays a crucial role in the market economy. The Power Plant Automatic Monitoring System is the right solution for this purpose.

In the power plant automatic monitoring system, the control layer consists of two parts. One is the main control device, and the other is the background SCADA system. The generating sets are measured through AGC screen. Meanwhile, the measurement and control units on the bay level within the booster station of the power plant are configured in one-to-one mode, and they, together with the background system, are connected to the same Ethernet, enabling the sharing of plant-wide information. The configuration and display device of the control screen is equipped with display control device that can display the operating parameters and the operating status of switches, knife switches and electrical equipment, and can operate them with buttons and remote/local switches. In addition, this system has good expandability, interconnectivity with other systems, standard computer network interfaces and international standard communication protocols, enabling it to exchange information with DCS, SIS, CIS and other systems within the power plant. It also has interfaces to in-plant power metering system, protection information system, fault recording system and other intelligent IED equipment.


System Function
1) Real-time data acquisition
The system collects non-electric quantity information of analog quantity, digital quantity, pulsed quantity and temperature in real-time, performs digital filtering, validity check, engineering value conversion, signal contact jitter elimination, calibration calculation and other processing, thereby providing applicable current, voltage, active power, reactive power, power factor, energy, temperature and other real-time data, which is transmitted to the station-level control layer, SCADA and dispatch centers of all levels through data processing devices.
2) Data processing function
Status quantity processing, analog quantity processing, calculation function, history data processing and statistical function.
3) Control function
System workstation control, remote control of dispatching center and local manual control. Among these three control modes, the operation of the bay level control layer is prior to the operation of the station level control layer, which in turn is prior to the remote operation of the remote dispatching center. Meanwhile, the controlled device only receives one operating command at a time.
4) Synchronized software test as per electrical unit.
5) Operation locking as per electrical unit and operation interlocking between different electrical units.
6) The application of network load distributor reduces network load, and improves network security, reliability and accessibility.
7) Local Area Network (LAN) has the functions of virtual connection to protection IED and other IEDs as well as batch file transmission.
8) Distributed installation, saving space and cable and boasting extremely competitive performance cost ratio.
9) Local LCD bay unit wiring diagram and data display, and one-on-one operation using button and change-over switch.

System Evaluation
